Greetings to KCCNJ & Pilgrim Church with the love of Jesus Christ.
We held our session from August 6-8. Pastor Akhaman was the instructor.
The topic was “The History of Israel.”
It helped our students see and understand how God works with His people and how He loves His people.
The students shared that they started to see the history of Israel from the Old Testament in a new way. But this time, Pastor Akhaman only talked about the first part of the topic. The students are eagerly waiting for the continuation.
Prayer requests:
1. It is very hot in Uzbekistan in the summer. It is, thus, very hard for the students and instructors during the spring and summer sessions, since it is very hot in the hall.
We are praying for air conditioners. ($2000)
2. After the adoption of the law on the liberalization of currency conversion, costs keep going up in all areas.
In connection to this, expenses for coffee breaks, as well as for lunch and dinner for the instructors keep increasing. We would also like to pay the instructors for their work ($50). We pray that the Lord would take care of these additional expenses ($400 per month).
3. Prayer requests from the students: for paying for their bachelor’s studies.
Prayer request from the student Fiala Kim: for resolving problems with my family.
Prayer request from the student Nasiba Nabieva: to purchase a dowry for her wedding. According to our customs, the bride is supposed to buy a bedroom set. In our family, we have 5 daughters and we don’t have a father. For her, this purchase is impossible without God’s help. A bedroom set of average quality costs around $1000.
4. Prayer request from the student Sanzhara Kadyrova: for the realization of her vision for the youth ministry in the villages.
5. Prayer request from the student Dilnora Seidometova: for a smooth birth (delivery).
6. We also pray for one of our instructors, Rustam Ushirbakiev. He is a very dedicated pastor. He teaches a number of seminars, serves in rehabilitation centers by providing the Word of God, leads a home cell, serves in village churches, etc. (the village of Arna – 55 km; the village of Zhalgashty – 30 km; the village of Kapchagai – 60 km; the village of Akzhar – 25 km)
He is Uyghur. He has an islamic background; his grandfather was a mullah.
This brother is a living testimony of the love of Christ.
Rustam Ushirbakiev is married and has five children. Of course, his family experiences serious material difficulties. But despite this, Pastor Rustam has a huge Christian heart. He is always ready to respond to any needs someone may have, never grumbles, and serves joyfully.
We pray that the Lord will bless him and will help cover at least Pastor Rustam’s travel expenses ($200 per month).
